Our History
What happens when there is never enough time to indulge your ever-growing passion for plants?
Something had to be done, and a decision was made!
Big Changes
With unyielding emotional and material support from my family, the old house was on the market and the search for a suitable nursery site had begun!
We finally moved to Jersey Cottage in the early spring of 2009. The 3 acre site was a total blank canvas other than a healthy collection of elder, thistles and nettles!
The Nursery Matures
The development of the nursery and garden commenced in the Late-spring of 2009 and by autumn it had become a full time occupation, having left previous employment.
Years of work went into preparing the site for business. Almost every structure that stands at the nursery has been hand made, from the stock benches to the overhanging pagodas.
Open For Business
The nursery opened to its first customers in the spring of 2012 and we now support a loyal and ever-growing customer base. Our stock of new and exciting plants has only increased and the future looks bright.
To friends, family and our returning customers, I express my sincere thanks and gratitude. We look forward to many more years of local business.
Access the Nursery
Entry to the display garden is free.
There is disabled access with paths to all areas of the garden and nursery without the use of steps but the paths are gravel with several slopes.
Dogs are very welcome but must be on a lead at all times.
